A Camp Mart is a small retail store located within campgrounds, RV parks, and outdoor recreation sites, designed to provide campers and travelers with essential supplies, snacks, and outdoor gear without requiring a trip into town. The co-founders of the Food Away From Home Association are developing new licensing models to support independent retail and food service operators who want a strong brand identity, starting with Lobby Shops (a branded version of a Hotel Pantry) and expanding to Camp Marts and Marina Marts.

Camp Marts cater to outdoor enthusiasts by offering a curated selection of grab-and-go snacks, bottled drinks, camping essentials, firewood, and first-aid supplies, ensuring that guests have access to necessities during their stay. These stores often stock travel-size personal care items, over-the-counter medications, and even branded campground merchandise such as postcards, T-shirts, and souvenirs. Many modern Camp Marts are also evolving to include local specialty products, fresh food options, and self-service checkout stations, making them a convenient, revenue-driving feature for campgrounds looking to enhance the visitor experience.
Camp Marts is an extension of the group’s CampandRV.com family of programming (distribution, store designs and set-ups and more).  CampandRV.com is also involved with national parks, RV supply, RV Dealers and more.

Camp and RV (CampandRV.com) serves as the central hub for sales, distribution, and advisory services across the outdoor recreation industry. It powers a family of specialized platforms including MarinaMarts.com for waterfront retail, CampMarts.com for campground and RV park needs, and CampCanteens.com, focused on curated camp store essentials. Together, these sites support operators with products, strategies, and services tailored to modern outdoor lifestyles.

Our History With Grab-and-Go

We created the first series of grab-and-go programs in the early 1990's and evolved into becoming distribution platform developers and operators for formats such as hotels, camp-grounds and marinas.
Our first series of snack and beverage programs (including with Best Buy, Lowe's, Hilton and Staples) grew to an annual $500 million and evolved into new programs within the food service formats (smoothie, juice, yogurt, coffee, deli, colleges and universities, hospitals, offices and factories, stadiums and arenas, theme parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums and more). www.GrabandGo.org

FOOD SERVICE FORMATS: The Food Away From Home Association’s founders have been involved in the Food Service industry (as suppliers, partners and media) for many years.  Our new membership will include operators and franchisors as well as others such as food service providers, chains, distributors, associations and more.  We are also expanding into healthy option ideas and introductions for their customers (smoothie, juice, boba tea and yogurt).

Future Membership Details

The Food Away From Home Association will be launching its membership drive soon! As part of our initiative, we are first engaging with key stakeholders in the industry, including smoothie shop, boba tea shop, juice shop, and yogurt shop operators, franchisors, franchisees, suppliers, distributors, and other essential partners. Our goal is to build a strong network that supports and advances businesses in the food away from home sector. We welcome discussions at the trade shows we visit to share insights about our program planning details and how membership can provide valuable resources, advocacy, and networking opportunities.

Juice Shops are becoming more and more popular and are growing in many locations throughout America. You will see them in strip malls, colleges and universities, food courts, hospitals, hotels, resorts, airports and many other food service formats.

Our Grab-and-Go program (ex: smoothie shops, juice shops, boba tea shops) includes beverages, candy, energy bars, brownies, fruit snacks, dairy products, ice cream, sports nutrition products, macarons, croissants and others.
